1. What's the best way to use Sport mode?
The sport mode is designed to record active scenes. It uses very fast shutter speeds to capture fast movements and therefore it requires a well lit environment, equivalent to a sunny day. Video clips captured in sport mode in low light environments might be dark. If you are in a low light environment try the normal video clip capture mode - the video clip will be brighter.

Please make sure not to shoot directly towards the sunlight, or your video clips may be over exposed.

2. Where can I purchase another battery for my camera?

The camera uses a 3.7V rechargeable Li-ion battery.  This type of battery is also used in cell phones and can be purchased from retailers who sell cell phone batteries. We recommend the use of internationally recognized brands of batteries.

4. Why does the LCD screen turn black and then turn off while I am playing MP3 files?

The camera has a built-in power saving feature that turns off the LCD after a period of inactivity to conserve battery power. Don't worry, you can continue to listen to your MP3s even though the LCD is off and if you would like to repeat or skip a song, just press the display or shutter button to active the LCD.

8. How do I use the LED light to take pictures?

The LED light on this camera is similar to the one provided by camera-phones. The LED is an additional light source that can be used to provide better lighting in low light conditions. However, an LED light is not as strong as a traditional flash and cannot produce the same results. Use other light sources if available. Moving closer to your subject also increases the effect of the LED light.
